Drew Thomas, 6'4", comes from a family of four, Avid ESPN fan, Major Aspirations ; Air Force - Social Worker (she adores this), Currently working with children and supported by a summer job, UNLV Social Work program to begin Fall 2012, Gym addict (and she loves that), Runaholic, Broncos lover, fan of Christ... friend of many... bad moods: rare & seldom.


Capri Barnes, 5'9", Infatuated with the DVR the 4 days a month I actually watch television, also from a family of four, Major Aspirations; Future Oprah or Co-Host on the view... Currently working in Traffic Safety and Seat belt Awareness (he supports this), UNLV Social Science Major, Skating for a trim figure (when possible) Chicago is for lovers; ( Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs fan <3), Jesus follower (modestly jacked up)  friend to all... choosing quality over quantity... control freak, moods sporadic... (but he loves her anyway)

It’s not the cheesy text messages, the shopping, browsing, lunch, or dinner dates… The late night phone calls, the work visits, the unexpected gifts, the oohing and aaahing over our future family or the new moms I find on blogspot. It isn't the crafts from pinterest, or your willingness to play hide and seek, watch little boy movies or attending a pageant of my sweetest diva, not the massages or the flowers, not the nights or days we watch “our movies or shows”.. Or the times I cook, those international meals… And you enjoy every bit of it… I enjoy our connection to Christ through our church, and even when we venture out and read Christian books, or attend other services, community groups, meeting with pastors and elders… And while that is all well and good… We find such comfort in one another through all of these things, I am so very happy that I know and love your heart… We fit so well together and I thank god for that, I couldn't be happier. I know we’ll have a marriage more beautiful than our wedding… (as impossible as that may sound) and I know we’ll go the distance."

Your 2nd Birthday

  Bryer boy, Bryer boy. I cannot believe you are two. I will never forget the night I went into labor with you. I went to the hospital around 10 or 11 o’clock at night on the 23rd. I remember thinking, I can’t believe he’s doing this to me. Your dad said you could come any day, and of course, you chose a day that will forever confuse me when it comes to your birthday and your actual birth date. But that’s just like you, full of surprises. And in these last 365 days, you’ve continued to surprise me in the best ways. I’m not shocked one bit. You are everything I didn’t know I needed, and someone I absolutely adore. You are completely obsessed with both of your parents. Audrey? That love is a little more conditional, but you love your whole family big: extended, chosen, and blood-related. You love to play and will play with anyone willing to join you. Your eighth birthday

  Audrey Kaydence. Today you are 8 years old. Holy cow kid. You made it to 8. Time goes faster than what I would deem appropriate but all in all you have had quite some LIFE in your years. Let’s recap the last year shall we?  You switched schools in February, which was a challenging decision, but a good one you were at a much smaller school now with a much smaller network of friends and it is healthier for you.  Your blonde hair is still blonde and your eyes are still this gray blue green. They change all the time primarily gray and green sometimes blue and green still very light still very curly. You have more freckles now than you ever have before and I am admiring watching your face with glasses as I know that contacts are coming soon to help with your myopia. You will always be my baby.
