Vickie turned 40 Something!

Image
Drew’s mom turned 40 something  I say this because the woman looks MUCH younger than her years… but she always has, sometimes drew and I look at pictures of when his mom and dad were dating and she looked much younger than she was at the time too! This being said, We celebrated by cooking her dinner! Tara and Dre supplied the Wine and we made; Bruschetta Chicken, Penne alla Vodka, Prosciutto & Parmesan shaving wrapped Asparagus, Lightly toasted Caprese minced  basil salads, and Drew hand re-created and crafted the Rosemary bread from Macaroni Grill! Dinner was awesome, and Danica (Drew’s niece) sat in the high chair for the first time with us during dinner and enjoyed herself! Our after Red-velvet cake eating and her present opening, the photo-shoot consisted of Drew and his niece posing for a while… until she got fussy because little mama was tired!, all in all it was a great night. Happy Bir...

"The Group" Most easily stated, the collaboration of 3 husbands & 3 wives and Drew and I purchased tickets to go see Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat! We started the night going out to my absolute favorite Mexican in Las Vegas it has been for the last decade, if you're ever looking for good Mexican in Las Vegas, it's off of Charleston and Main street, vibe is amazing, servers are prompt, food is delicious, and the drinks are yummy and special! It was reasonable and ridiculously fun!        Until now, I've never been to the Mandalay Beach club and pool area of the Las Vegas casino. Though, I have enjoyed concerts at the casino before.  Last time, I was with my best friend Dj’s family, His Step Mom, her best friend, and his Aunt.. we went to go see Boyz II Men when I was about 17 years old and it   was  amazing!!!  But for this concert, at Mandalay Bay, it was a beautiful scene, especially at night.   ...

Post-Dated: Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio.

First and foremost KUDOS to the awesome team  Rising to the occasion and putting in some monumental long hours with a tight deadline were a large crew of colorful creatives, (you know who you are), Team ArtFabs and Hare's 'weaverbirds'. Humble respect and thanks to you all. Drew and I were so thankful to see such beautiful displays of God's elegance... I mean, if there is anywhere in Vegas where you can stay awestruck for a moderately long amount of time to be in complete shock of the beauty God's earth has grown, leave it to be the man made conservatory with beautiful, fresh, GORGEOUS floral and gourd displays! So beautiful my boyfriend wanted to go behind the front desk to look up close to the others! Thank you to the darling couple who offered to take this picture for us! Man, ice cream is hard to photograph, especially when it’s smothered with warm tempura bananas and caramel sauce – maj...

(for the time being) so I have plenty of post-dated blogs that will be posted, Traditionally if I forget to blog on the day of, I'll just schedule the posts as if I didn't forget... but since this was almost a two month blog hiatus, I'm going to post as many as I can in the free time that I can, I'm human... a fallible human being, and the proof is in the blog! I've got many fun things to share with all of our readers, and as soon as Drew's busy life slows down again, I'm sure he will too! ANYWHO, onto the new blog posts!

In August of this year, We got our hands dirty with a fun project, Our future Ring Bearer LOVES him some cars... take note: So, Drew and I had seen a few pinterest car re-do's here and there over and over again, and we knew my neighbor's soon to be 5 year old daughter was going to outgrow her cozy car sooner than later, knowing that Gavin's first birthday in August was on it's way we got to thinking.. what if we were able to turn this ...  into this?! We immediately headed to pick up paint, we purchased Krylon Fusion for Plastic . We used, Patriotic Blue, Flat White, and Clear. (I will say the plastic paint bubbles, and the regular spray paint does not, this project could not have been completed without my dad's wonderful spray painting skills and he added regular Krylon spray paint in white we already had at home to do Gavin's seat... the plastic paint gets rough and gains texture when dry... IMPORTANT FACT ) First, we f...
