The Smith Center Tour

So, though it may seem as if Drew and I celebrate every single month of our togetherness (which we don't... I mean we actually celebrate every week we're together by going out on a date at least once a week) Aside from that... we find realistically unconventional, modestly priced, fun and non-traditional dates to go on when we celebrate our monthaversary's! 

SO, in November, I kidnapped drew... Threw this little beauty on his head...

and drove him to the Smith Center, What is the Smith Center you may ask? Especially if you don't live in Las Vegas? 

to put it simply... it is the largest performing arts center in Las Vegas, the FIRST performing arts center in Las Vegas, and it hosts some of our largest broadway shows... from Wicked to the Million Dollar Quartet... oh and it has a price of $470 million dollars... so it's by far the most expensive building Drew or I have ever stepped foot into... and we had the pleasure of touring the beauty on the morning of our anniversary!










Can I just say thank you to the wonderful man who took this once in a lifetime (since pictures inside the smith center theater are 100% prohibited during shows) picture of us over the entire theater... So thankful for him in his 80 year old glory!







To be in the Founders room, you must donate at least 1000$ to the Smith Center, every six months... haha, not going to happen, but thanks for the tour!

The architecture in this building is flawless, we were honored to learn so much about this wonderful Las Vegas Landmark!

Your 2nd Birthday

  Bryer boy, Bryer boy. I cannot believe you are two. I will never forget the night I went into labor with you. I went to the hospital around 10 or 11 o’clock at night on the 23rd. I remember thinking, I can’t believe he’s doing this to me. Your dad said you could come any day, and of course, you chose a day that will forever confuse me when it comes to your birthday and your actual birth date. But that’s just like you, full of surprises. And in these last 365 days, you’ve continued to surprise me in the best ways. I’m not shocked one bit. Your eighth birthday

  Audrey Kaydence. Today you are 8 years old. Holy cow kid. You made it to 8. Time goes faster than what I would deem appropriate but all in all you have had quite some LIFE in your years. Let’s recap the last year shall we?  You switched schools in February, which was a challenging decision, but a good one you were at a much smaller school now with a much smaller network of friends and it is healthier for you.  Your blonde hair is still blonde and your eyes are still this gray blue green. They change all the time primarily gray and green sometimes blue and green still very light still very curly. You have more freckles now than you ever have before and I am admiring watching your face with glasses as I know that contacts are coming soon to help with your myopia. You will always be my baby.
