Audrey's Story Chapter 2: The beginning of True Labor

It started the morning of December 12, 2015... I woke up again with contractions, and began timing them on my ipad... I'd read somewhere online... if you aren't sure whether you're in actual labor or not... get in a warm bath of water and if the contractions stop... then you're good, if they intensify... go to the hospital.
so... My husband turned on Kenny G Holiday on pandora and started my bath... luckily, the contractions stopped and... I ended up filling out hospital paperwork because I knew in my heart of hearts... she was coming soon.

It was a cold December evening, I was impatiently awaiting the delivery of a meal from my aunt Pam.  She made chicken Marsala when my grandmother passed away and when I tell you it was delicious,  it literally sweeps you off your feet. Any who,  I had asked her to bring it to me and she’s the type of aunt who delivers when you request… so

While we were waiting we turned on a sneak peek of  Adele: Live in New York  which was special because our song is “to make you feel my love” a cover of Bob Dylan’s song, sang by Adele…

After my aunt dropped off the pasta, around 7:00 pm my stomach started jumping around after I finished eating... pretty strong... I'd never felt anything like this before so either my baby loved pasta... or Adele... or maybe, she was ready to come out... prayerfully all of the above but in this instant I just wanted her to stop feeling whatever she was feeling... because I couldn't handle it.

I remember timing them on my ipad, and then losing control... the app looks just like this ... and clearly, you can tell when I stopped paying attention... that contraction lasted 754 hours... bahahahaha
but the one that took place that night... was about 13 minutes apart... and around 10 minutes apart, I yelled at Drew to start timing them on his phone because I couldn't hold my cellphone  any longer...  I remember being in such pain I would count how long they lasted... and I remember the sigh of relief when they stopped... it was so nice when they stopped.

Eventually, I remember asking him how far it said the frequency was between them, he informed me... well, it says 5 minutes and 21 seconds... I said, it's time to go... and in that moment we knew we were officially in labor.
