25. If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you eat?
If I could dine with anyone... I'd dine with
Audrey Kathleen Hepburn… If and when Drew and I ever have a daughter,
he’s elected her name be Audrey… because of my love of this famed beauty.
Audrey Hepburn is such a timeless woman. I’m sure my hello speech would go something
like this… Hello Mrs. Hepburn… I am in complete awe of your formal attire this
evening, you look absolutely stunning.. of course, order before me darling
(that’s the way I’d say it too) I'll have nothing but water because with these butterflies, I'll have no idea how to keep food down... and then I’d follow it up with: I’m positive I’m not your biggest fan, but I know I come close… I
think it’s amazing that you touched America’s history and lives of humans
everywhere by your presence. I’ve always been in inspired by your glamour;
your thoughts that have been quoted over the years are a fresh breath of
inspiration. Your motion pictures are what get me through my sick days, I
literally throw Sabrina in disc one and Funny girl in disc two, and alternate
throughout my collection until my virus fades. Your humanitarianism shines
throughout your work for UNICEF and the beauty in your demeanor is ideally what
I’d like others to seek in myself long after I’m gone. When I was born, you had
just turned 61, and though you died two short years later, I have admired you
as my favorite starlet from childhood. You were a smart and classy woman,
someone I truly look up to in admiration. You have a wonderful family, a sweet
husband; and sons who made you who you were. I found out you stopped acting for
a while to raise your boys, and that’s amazing that you would always put your
family first, even ahead of your career. You’ve become the perfect person to
admire, I hope one day I can become half the personality on screen and off that you were. And I
promise you tonight on this day I was given to dine with you on this day in history
is the best day that has occurred in my life…
