Happy 21st Ashley!

So, for Ashley's 21st birthday, (since she was the baby of the group) we all decided to go out and spend a couples night out together...
From left to right ( Drew & Capri - Dating) (Michael & Kristin - Married) (Dom & Ashley - Married) (Aaron & Jazz - Dating) (Robert & Janeth - Married)

The only reason I gave a disclaimer, is because so often I speak of "our group" and our "husbands/boyfriends" going out or the "wives/girlfriends" are going out... and it'll get confusing THEREFORE... everyone is in this picture, aside from two.5 of our favorites...

Tim, Kaelyn, and Nikita (who are married, with a honey bun, out of the oven <3) ha!

Anywho... we started the evening at...

This awesome hip, trendy joint in Tivoli Village, actually a comfortable, modernized diner… Drew’s mom brought us here after my 21st birthday, so we figured… it’d be a great place to bring all of our friends, (since they love trying new things with us) I have more complaints than good things… the best part about our meal was what Double Helix presented as a whole… the menu, food, drinks were perfect as we’d recalled back in May. The waitress was attentive though short witted after it’d been brought to her attention that we were displeased about not receiving the happy hour menu outside of the happy hour bar section… OR we could, on the 110 degree patio. THEN we were told that this is specified on the happy hour menu… let me show you the size of the happy hour section inside bottles and burgers…

Yes, this small area, which may seat 20… was supposed to seat our entire party and ALSO the happy hour guests at the restaurant. DON’T  think so… ALSO, she added that if we’d called ahead and made reservations SPECIFICALLY FOR HAPPY HOUR, we could’ve sat in the same area, and got happy hour pricing? How does this make sense… BOLLOCKS. Forgive my language, though I was displeased with the inattentiveness from the server, mis-marketing from the restaurant’s door… and, their snarky move to send our table to the back of the restaurant.
 Now that I’m off my soapbox, we were so displeased with the service, drew and I headed to go buy liquor and mixers, oh… and cookies while the rest of them walked around Charming Charlies…
and then, we headed over to Robert and Janeth’s house for one round of Loaded Questions…
{ Insert: fun,laughs, memories, spilled daquri, jokes, jabs, interesting remarks, 3 boxes of cookies,
two boxes of cornbread here}
It was a top night! We hope you had fun darling… please believe, next time… there will be reservations for happy hour seats for 12 which don’t even exist but they promised us anyways…
haha God have mercy on my snarky attitude, and please grant me the serenity to accept the rules I cannot change.
