So this weekend… My 5th Grade childhood best friend came into town who currently resides 10 minutes from New York… To celebrate her 21st birthday with someone she hadn't seen in years, in a city she hadn't been in since puberty... I mean, some of you may be asking yourself, how much can you really have in common with someone you haven’t seen since you were 10 years old… and let me answer your question… too much!



We drifted from about 2001-2005 then I found her on myspace, and the rest is back to history… we kept up social media style, text messages, facebook comments, myspace bulletin re-posts and comments, messages, aim chats… you name it, we did it… there are military couples who admire our communication skills over the last 11 years.

BOY OH BOY… did we have fun… or what?... let's just say, we put on for this city.













I find our details of our whereabouts quite personal and if we know you enough, love you enough, or trust you enough… we’ll disclose our whereabouts when the time is right… just know this… in just a few days I accomplished less than 20 hours of sleep… and never skipped a beat.

Amanda came in with her big sister Emma who was 16 the last time I saw her, and we had such a jolly good time (didn’t we ladies) acquired precious English accents as well!

In two nights and one day, granted I had a bridal function to be a part of so their last two nights and one day I simply departed… though we got into quite some fun over two nights and three days <3

I miss you girls already; I can’t wait until you move back!!!!!!!!

Your 2nd Birthday

  Bryer boy, Bryer boy. I cannot believe you are two. I will never forget the night I went into labor with you. I went to the hospital around 10 or 11 o’clock at night on the 23rd. I remember thinking, I can’t believe he’s doing this to me. Your dad said you could come any day, and of course, you chose a day that will forever confuse me when it comes to your birthday and your actual birth date. Your eighth birthday

  Audrey Kaydence. Today you are 8 years old. Holy cow kid. You made it to 8. Time goes faster than what I would deem appropriate but all in all you have had quite some LIFE in your years. Let’s recap the last year shall we?  You switched schools in February, which was a challenging decision, but a good one you were at a much smaller school now with a much smaller network of friends and it is healthier for you.  Your blonde hair is still blonde and your eyes are still this gray blue green. They change all the time primarily gray and green sometimes blue and green still very light still very curly. You have more freckles now than you ever have before and I am admiring watching your face with glasses as I know that contacts are coming soon to help with your myopia. You will always be my baby.
