Happy 7th Birthday Thomas!!

We started the festivities days before hand on his actually birth day, 7-11... which reminds me, this year was the first year in the last 4, I haven't taken him to get a slurpee on his actual birthday :[… We got icecream cupcakes form Carvel instead!

We started a cupcake tradition last year on his 6th birthday shaping cupcakes like his age, it'll continue!

SO, For Thomas’s birthday party, the boys; Skip, Mike, and Drew… took 4 very doe-eyed sweet little boys to go play Laser Tag…

While I took my pageant princess to go see...

Look at her hair for the day, I had to boast… this little girl is my practice run :] My kid will have the most darling hairstyles thanks to abby’s patience!


Well, we spent the afternoon dancing in the asiles and crying over her divorce… then smiling and shaking it to California girls! We drove home to find the house in a fun array of army decorations!


We lined army men all over his cake, he wanted a huge cake plain vanilla, with vanilla frosting and army men.. Done and Done!



We had such a great turnout and though you can't see any of the pool dwellers, they all had a great time swimming and jumping. 




and I had the best time hanging out with my nephew and his mama, and so did our flower girl, she loves her some babies!!!.

  Bryer boy, Bryer boy. I cannot believe you are two. I will never forget the night I went into labor with you. I went to the hospital around 10 or 11 o’clock at night on the 23rd. I remember thinking, I can’t believe he’s doing this to me. Your dad said you could come any day, and of course, you chose a day that will forever confuse me when it comes to your birthday and your actual birth date. Your eighth birthday

  Audrey Kaydence. Today you are 8 years old. Holy cow kid. You made it to 8. Time goes faster than what I would deem appropriate but all in all you have had quite some LIFE in your years. Let’s recap the last year shall we?  You switched schools in February, which was a challenging decision, but a good one you were at a much smaller school now with a much smaller network of friends and it is healthier for you.  Your blonde hair is still blonde and your eyes are still this gray blue green. They change all the time primarily gray and green sometimes blue and green still very light still very curly. You have more freckles now than you ever have before and I am admiring watching your face with glasses as I know that contacts are coming soon to help with your myopia. You will always be my baby.
